About

Born and raised in Omaha, NE I started my web development career in 1997 converting a BBS system into an Internet website. This website started database driven with Allaire ColdFusion 3.5. It became very popular with many Insurance companies and soon was bought out by ChoicePoint, Inc. located in Alpharetta, GA. I stayed on with them for a year and moved on to start a few other ideas.

My latest opportunity is with CF Webtools in Omaha, NE. I primarly work with custom websites that are both public and member driven. I’ve gone a long way from using ColdFusion 3.5 and Microsoft SQL Server 6 to ColdFusion 9 and Micoroft SQL Server 2008.

As a volunteer, I am part of a local Fire Department where I am a Firefighter and EMT. I have volunteered with a few departments since 2001. My interested grew with this after I volunteered with the Salvation Army Disaster Services for a few years and experienced up front, large-scale fires and disasters. My father was also part of my current department 5 years prior to my Firefighter certification who suggested volunteering with the Salvation Army.

I have also been experimenting with my Canon EOS Rebel DSLR camera and have progressively increased my interest primarily with dramatic photography. I may buy into some additional equipment and see where this takes me.
